He had been fighting a cancer for several months. A tumor near his prostate regions that didn't allow him to walk. He did start feeling better after being confined to his apartment, but when he returned to work his health dwindled very quickly. He will be terribly missed, my Dave.
Omg, I had no idea! I can't believe Dave is gone! He was amazing. I loved knowing him through the privilege to interview him for a story to accompany the beautiful work he contributed to Carrie Leigh's NUDE.
His work with you was incredibly beautiful, and he had an incredibly beautiful soul. Thank you so much for honoring him here. Blessings to you and he touched.
What an amazing tribute - truly wonderful and incredible shots. He will be sorely missed for his artistic vision and ability to make shots like this. Thank you very much for sharing this body of work.
Oh my god, that's so deeply sad. His work truly inspired me and I feel so deeply humble to have my work alongside his in an issue of NUDE - what a lovely soul and heart he has :) He will never be forgotten in my world, that's for sure :) x
Thank you for sharing your collaborations with him. He was very helpful to me, and apparently to many others. I'm sorry for your loss. He'll be missed.
It gives me great pleasure to hear from so many what and how they've shared with Dave. I was afraid I was alone in my mourning and that he would had been forgotten if no one knew of his passing. Many thanks. I'm sure Dave is enjoying the love right now.
Truly wonderful series.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that Dave had passed. If you don't mind my asking, do you know what happened?
